The other night, I started singing a song to Nolan. I was making it up as I went, but part of the song went "Nolan Robert, Nolan Robert, where are you? Where are you?" He loves to sing and thought the song was funny. I asked him if he knew that my real name is Elizabeth Marietta. Apparently, when you are two, that is a hysterical name. He can't say 'Marietta' very well. I told him that my Mom would sometimes call me 'Bethie Marie', but that most people just call me Beth. Nolan thought this over then said, "And now your name is Mama."
He's right. That's my favorite name.
